Delta’s Gray and Beers Set to Chase State Title in Southern California

San Joaquin Delta College standouts Hadlee Gray and Trinity Beers have punched their tickets to the 3C2A State Beach Volleyball Pairs Championship. The duo secured their spot after a hard-fought performance at the Northern California Pairs Regional Finals held in Cupertino on May 1–2.

As one of the premier pairings representing the North, Gray and Beers are now bound for Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA, where they will compete against the state's elite on May 8–9.

The Mustangs pair enters the state tournament riding a wave of consistent success. After finishing third in the highly competitive Big 8 pairs championship. 

Gray, an outside hitter who recently committed to St. Mary's College, and Beers have proven to be a formidable duo, combining defensive grit with an aggressive offensive presence at the net.

The road to the podium begins this Friday in Southern California:

• Friday, May 8 (Pool Play): Gray and Beers will compete in a four-team pool. They must secure a top-two finish in their group to advance to  Saturday. 

• Saturday, May 9 (The Finals): Survival on Day 1 leads to the single-elimination finals.
