Delta remains unbeaten in the Big 8 Conference

Delta (22-1, 9-0) remains unbeaten in the Big 8 Conference with their 86-77 win over Sierra College (17-6, 7-3). Freshman Alicia Jones scored a college career-high 31 points shooting 11-16 from the field and making 4-6 from the 3 point line. Donja Payne was 7-10 from the field scoring 17 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Sophomore Tymiko Patterson had 9 points, 6 steals and 6 boards for the Mustangs. Delta overcame a slow 1st quarter start and turnovers to rally for their 15th win in a row.

The Lady Mustangs resume Big 8 Conference play Tuesday on the road vs. Cosumnes River College at 7:30pm.
