Mustangs Shine with Strong Performances at ARC Sprint Pentathlon

San Joaquin Delta College's women's swimming team delivered an impressive showing at the ARC Sprint Pentathlon on April 3, 2026, highlighted by several top finishes and solid relay performances.

 

Crystallyn Tran led the Mustangs with a first-place finish in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:00.59. Tran also secured a third-place finish in the 100 Back at 1:05.11 and placed third overall in the pentathlon. Victoria Guzman added strong individual results, claiming fifth in the 100 IM (1:05.48) and sixth in the 50 Free (26.42). Kylie Richardson and Mo Schmierer also placed in the top 10 overall for the pentathlon. The Delta College relay team showcased their speed with a second-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay, clocking in at 1:55.64. Additionally, the Delta College  team secured third place in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:46.24.

 

"I am so happy with where the team is physically going into taper for Championships and we are all very excited to see our hard work pay of and contend for the prestigious Big 8 Title," Coach Varosh said.
